Industrial plug

The screw-in resistance thermometer with industrial plug allows a very easy installation and has proven to be excellent in wind turbines for example.

  • temperature range from -40 ° C ... +260 ° C
  • compact connection head (28 mm x 28 mm x 50 mm)
  • quickly released without disconnecting the cable
  • reverse polarity protection
  • alternatively with spring-loaded protection hose

Screw-in thermometers with industrial plug connectors are an alternative to sensors with metal-based connection heads. They are used just as the traditional thermometer for bearing temperature measurements and for temperature measurement in liquid media. In wind plants they monitor hydraulic drives e.g. the pitch or azimuth adjustment of rotor blades and of the engine pod. This thermometer is also used in tractors.

The screw-in thermometer with a 3-pin industrial plug connector is centred against reverse polarity and is equipped with a 1/2" thread as standard. The cable outlet has a PG11 fitting. The connection head can be released from the sensor by loosening the central screw without disconnecting the attached cables. Pt100 measuring resistors are applied in accordance to DIN EN 60751. The connection is made in 2 - or 3-wire circuit. Insertion length and diameter of the protection tube made of stainless steel can be selected. The temperature range at the sensor head is between -40°C to +125°C, at the sensor tip between -40 ° C to +260 ° C maximum.
