VDB German Railway Industry Association

German railway manufacturers are organised under the umbrella of the German Railway Industry Association (VDB). Its members include the big system houses as well as all important medium sized enterprises in the industry with more than 130 member companies.The VDB represents the interests of its members towards politics and the media, ministries and authorities as well as railway transport companies and institutions and has been doing so for more than 130 years.The VDB is organised into 19 topical groups and working groups which appoint experts to the member companies. EPHY-MESS has been a member since 1998.

AMA Association for Sensor Technology

The AMA Association for Sensor Technology was founded in 1980 as the AMA Arbeitsgemeinschaft Messwertaufnehmer e.V., a registered workgroup association for measuring transducers. Today the AMA Association has ca. 450 members, 70 of which are R&D institutes. The AMA Association represents the interests of all organizations engaged in one form or another with measuring devices or systems. It thus covers the entire value chain from fundamental research to production and from sensor elements to complex measuring, testing, and controlling systems. EPHY-MESS is a member since 1989.

ZVEI Central Association for Electronic Engineering and the Electrical Industry

The trade association represents the economic, technical and industry-policy interests of the supplier industry of transformers, electric motors and generators in Germany and Europe. The aim of the Association is the sustainable improvement of the innovative power and international competitiveness of its member companies, close cooperation with its partners in the value-added chain, within national and international networks and committees as well as with policy decision-makers. ZVEI supports the development and deployment of new technologies by proposals concerning research, technology, environmental protection, education and science policy. He supports a market-related, international standardization work. EPHY-MESS is a member since 2005.

The German Wind Energy Association (BWE)

With currently about 20,000 members the BWE is the world's largest association in the field of renewable energies. Its members are manufacturers of wind turbines, operators and their shareholders, planning offices, financiers, scientists, engineers, technicians and lawyers. Environmentalists of the "first hour", schoolchildren and students are among its members as well. EPHY-MESS is a member since 2011.

BZEE Education Centre for Renewable Energies

In the year 2000 together with the Federal Wind Energy Association, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and many wind energy companies in Husum founded the educational center for renewable energies, BZEE. This centre educates continuously the necessary personnel for service, maintenance and repair of wind turbines worldwide. 90 companies in the wind energy industry are members of BZEE. Together with the colleagues at the BZEE, they continuously provide up-to-date industry specific training content and courses. EPHY-MESS is a member since 2009.
